We would also like to thank our guest on these recordings, Andrew Cico, who served as our bassist for this album.
In true Under Green Suns fashion, our emphasis for this two-song release was free-improvisation and ambiance, with each member of the triplet adding to the massive soundscapes that unfolded. Each track spans more than 20 minutes, making this our longest release to date.
This album takes a breathier, more eclectic tone than those before it. With synthesizer taking a backing and ethereal role, the bass and guitar duel for supremacy on a massive and haunting sonic battlefield.
This has been an extremely difficult year, for all, and having the ability to play and release socially-distanced music was an absolute blessing. This is far from over. Stay smart, safe, and healthy, and sit back on a cold winter night and listen to Ambient One (not the eno one).
