Consuming the Ichor of the Sacred Chalice to Reclaim the Lost Purity of Flesh in a Desperate Attempt to Preserve Metallic "Tradition" (Another Dungeon Synth Album)
Witness the triumphant return of our decrepit duo, Sanguineous Gruesomeness and Agrimonic Repugnance as they gather once more to journey under the sign of green suns. Drained yet again of their effervescent life fluid, its charnel quality sapped by bardic endeavors of substantial heft, the parodic pair turn unending to melodies borne of baroque worship and virginal notions.
"For many fortnights, we have toiled in the ignorant task to birth belletristic works amongst better company" Gruesomeness explains. "The result of this benevolent cooperation has not been entirely devoid of worth, but its fruits proved nearly too much to bear" Repugnance added, "we needed to unite under the banner of verdant stars and imbibe in our metallic forefather's unholy tradition."
In the vain task to usurp their previous work's substantial legacy, the two gathered in secrecy over but the course of one lunar cycle, combating bouts of animalistic malady and elemental torrents to do so. The result is a dungeon synth album that pulls from its genre's legacy of mediocre Tangerine Dream worship and finds its harmonic roots built on the bedrock of Foxes.
Behold, a marginally better salmagundi of midi maps and empire's dying wail.
